Blizzard Entertainment, the company behind World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, is offering a new incentive to keep players subscribed. The developer has begun offering loot boxes to subscribers that can be redeemed for in-game items.
The hearthstone battlegrounds elementals op 2021 is a new card that Blizzard has recently released. It’s an incredibly powerful card, and it will be used in the upcoming Hearthstone expansion pack.
If you thought it was a bit thirsty of Blizzard to finally be handing out long-awaited improvements in World of Warcraft just when the consequences of a poor expansion, a failed patch, and a big controversy were catching up with the game, you won’t be impressed with this afternoon’s announcement. Blizzard is providing numerous cross-promotional offers as part of the Hearthstone Mercenaries hype, including loot for its other core games.
For example, the business is urging players to subscribe to World of Warcraft for six months in return for items from both WoW and Hearthstone, such as the Sapphire Skyblazers horse (for retail WoW) and the Imp in a Ball toy (for WoW Classic).
“Once you’ve paid for your membership, you’ll get 15 United in Stormwind card packs, a Tavern Pass, and Battleground Perks. With the release of Mercenaries on October 12, you’ll get an extra 15 Mercenaries card packs. You’ll also get 15 card packs from a future Hearthstone expansion, 15 Mercenaries card packs, a Tavern Pass, and Battleground privileges at a later date as a bonus.”
Completing the Mercenaries lesson in Hearthstone when it goes live will also unlock Sarge, the adorable rat mount, on the player’s World of Warcraft account.
