The Star Citizen community-run Daymar Rally race has been announced, and the inaugural event will take place on January 15, 2018.

Daymar Rally, a 2.25-mile-long race that takes place in space, promises to be “the biggest and best-organised race that RSI have done to date.” The Daymar Rally was one of the first community-run events for Star Citizen, which was crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 2014 and 2015. Back then, the race was a 2.25-mile-long race that took place in space.

Did you ever tried going to the Daymar Rally? If you have not, you better start to. Daymar Rally is one of the most popular group mods for Star Citizen, and this year, it is back. The event is scheduled to begin on January 15, and will run on Saturdays for the rest of the month. After the announced return of the Daymar Rally, many have started to think of what might happen next.

It’s time for some sci-fi off-road racing action in the game. The Daymar Rally is a community-led event in which three classes of vehicles — buggies, rovers, and motorcycles — race over a moon to reach checkpoints in the quickest time possible. The next event will take place on Saturday, January 15th, 2022, for those who are interested.

The rally will take place on one moon next year, with a 510-kilometer route and three outposts for participants to visit. Registration for the 2022 event is already available for all three vehicle classes, but the registration website emphasizes that this isn’t a definitive confirmation of participation, but rather a measure of individual interest. Registrants will get a confirmation of attendance questionnaire on December 8th, 2021, and the final grid will be verified on December 23rd, 2021.

The race map for 2022 has yet to be released, but the event organizers are generating early buzz with a Twitter video that will most certainly be uploaded on YouTube later. The tweet is linked below till then.

The #DaymarRally is set to return on January 15th, 2952.
